- Introduce years ago as the first pocket-meter, the original mini-Ligno is still a valid choice as an accurate meter. The circuitry has been updated wih microprocessor technology for accuracy and reliability.
- The mini-Ligno is built with the same high-quality components as all Lignomat meters to ensure calibration accuracy and repeatability. The "mini" is the lowest priced meter Lignomat sells, it just does not offer as many features.
-It is well worth having this meter on hand for checking wood to avoid cracked tables, loose joints, cupped floors or failed glue-lines.
The functional designed mini-Ligno case is made of high impact resistant plastic. The disinctive green cap serves as cover over the pins during transportation. The cap is also used as a handle for easy probe insertion. This unique design allows pushiing behind the entire meter to insert the tapered pins easily. A set of longer pins is stored inside the meter for measuring thicker material. The short pins are ideal for surface or end cut readings and for veneer. For ease-of-operation the switch between the pins automatically turns the meter on and off, coserving battery life. Two wood groups can be selected by switch. Besides wood products, mini-Lignos can measure moisture levels in cardboard, paper, leather, fiberglass and many other materails.
