DAF Dissolved Air Flotation Waste Water Treatment Unit

Working Principle :

The air will be send by air compressor into air tank, then take in air dissolved tank by jet flow device, the air will be force to dissolve into water under 0.35Mpa pressure and forming dissolved air water, then send to air flotation tank. Under the circumstance of sudden release, the air dissolved in water will be dissolve out and form vast microbubble group, which will be fully contact the flocculating suspended matter in sewage, the suspended matter was sent by pump and flocculation after adding flocculant, the ascending microbubble group will adsorb in the flocculated suspended matter, made its density reduce and floated to water surface, thus reach the purpose of removing SS and CODcr etc.

The DAF Separator provides effective separation of suspended solids, fats, oils and greases from liquids by dissolved air flotation. Flotation of the solids is accomplished by the introduction of tinny air bubbles into the process water. As the bubbles rise, they attach themselves to the particales in suspension and carry them to the surface for removed.

Main advantage

2. Sturdy and compact with a significantly smaller footprint than most conventional units. It occupies only half of traditional DAF system, but SS removal rate is much higher than conventional unit.

5. No blind angle in scum collection chamber.

Application of DAF

Corresponding water quality: high SS, and the specific gravity of suspended solids or contaminants is generally close to or less than water, settle slowly, persist by remaining in suspension, or have a tendency to float, like
Textile Industry,Oil and Fats, Food Industry effluents with high solids concentration, 
Dairies, Algae-laden water, Landscape water treatment, etc...
