Gold Ore Processing Line Brief introduction
There are mainly two types of gold ore deposits including lode gold mine and placer mine. Besides these two, there is a kind of associated gold mines, but because its gold content is too low, always been recycled and made comprehensive utilization during nonferrous metals mining process. Gravity separation and flotation separation are the most porpular separation methods in gold ore processing, typical flow is primary crushing by crushers, grinding by ball mill, extracting concentrate and tailings through gravity separation and flotation separation, then get the final gold product through chemical process and smelting.
Gold ore processing line flow
1. Crushing and grinding
A jaw crusher for primary crushing, standard cone crusher for mid crushing and short head cone crusher or roller crusher for fine crushing. Middle and small scale ore dressing plant usually use two-stage one closed circuit method while big scale ore dressing plant use three-stage one closed circuit method to crush ores. To enhance the capacity, exploit the equipment’s potentialities, increase the ball mill’s utilization, we adopt the method of more crushing and less grinding, to minimize the size of ore before entering the ball mill.
2. Gravity separation
As the assistant craft, gravity separation is mainly to recycle coarse gold during the grinding return process, to create advantages for flotation separation and cyaniding craft, to improve beneficiation indicators, and to increase the general recovery rate of gold, so it’s important for increasing the capacity and cost reduction. The main equipment will be used include spiral chute, shaking table, jigger, hydrocyclones and so on. The joint separation method of flotation-gravity separation is adaptable to most of domestic gold mines.
3.Flotation separation
Flotation separation method is quite popular in most of domestic rock gold mines, the gold concentrate always been sent to non-ferrous metals smelting factory for further processing.There are mainly differential flotation and bulk flotation two types of crafts. Periodical grinding-flotation separation and gravity-flotation joint separation are the major trend of domestic flotation separation crafts.
