6491X Insulation cables are wrapped with insulation materials that are lead-free, heat-resistant vinyl (PVC) or halogen free, flame-retardant cross-linked polyolefin over conductors. These cables are used for the cabling of electric devices of less than 450/750 V and for internal power supply.
Application
6491X Cable H07V-R/H07V-U to BS6004 is suitable for power and lighting circuits and building wiring. The cable is intended for use in semi-flush exposed conduits and embedded conduits as well as in closed installation ducts, and is ideal for the internal wiring of appliances and apparatus.
H07V-R: Class 2 stranded plain copper conductors to BS EN 60228:2005 (previously BS6360)
H07V-U: Class 1 solid plain copper conductor to BS EN 60228:2005 (previously BS6360)
Insulation: PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) Type TI1 to BS7655
Insulation Colour: Red, Black, Blue, Yellow, Brown, White, Green/Yellow, Grey( Note: Insulation colors other than the above may be manufactured on customer request. )
Voltage Rating: 450/750V
Temperature Rating: 0°C to +70°C
The above wiring cables conform to BS 6004 specification for "PVC insulated cables (non-armoured) for electric power and lighting". The cables also generally satisfy the International Specification IEC 60227 (6491 X only) and German standard VDE 0281 for "PVC insulated cables and cords with rated voltage not exceeding 750V"
