This is an universal machine tool for cutting spiral bevel gears, hypoid gears, angular bevel gears, pinions meshing with non-generated gears and gears with long corn distance. This machine is suitable for gear cutting in automobile, construction machinery and machine tool industries, especially for batch production. With this machine, gear cutting is CNC controlled three-axes chain-reaction,i. e. Cradle oscillation(X axes), work spindle rotation(Y axis) and sliding base movement(z axes). With this machine, various spiral bevel gears can be made from the smallest gear with diameter 20mm and module 2.5mm to the biggest gear with diameter 500mm and module 10mm. The CNC system is specially developed for the machine. The human-computer interaction is direct and easy for operation.
Charictrisctics:
- The machine is designed to operate as a three-axes CNC control Spiral Bevel Gear Generator, i.e. cradle oscillation(X axis), work spindle rotation(Y axis) and sliding base movement(Z axis) being simultaneously controlled by control system. A frequency variable motor controls the rotation of cutter spindle which leads stepless speed change.
- The machine is flexible because there is no needs to change hang wheels. This minimizes the machine setting time.
- When setting the cutter manually, the power of main motor will be off, so as to protect the operator. Three axes(X,Y and Z) will be back to zero positions through switches and there are forward and backward limit switches for Z axis.
- A high precision worm gear set is equipped for cradle drive and work spindle drive respectively, which are controlled by AC servo system for high machining accuracy.
- The machine is equipped with CNC control system, AC digital servo system and frequency variable regulator to accomplish the automatic or manual control and fault diagnosis.
- The machine is equipped with an independent sealed electrical cabinet.
- Safety guards and auto-chip conveyor are optional equipped.
