INTRODUCTION:
The discharging of powders, flakes, pellets and other types of bulk materials from bags/sacks can be one of the most time consuming, labor intensive and hazardous processes in industry. ZJY ZBO-A series Automatic Bag Opener is designed for automatic, continuous, dust-free and fast operation of loading, opening and compacting of bags with a range of 20-50kg. Suitable bags can be paper bags, plastic bags, poly-woven bags or burlap sacks.
HOW IT WORKS:
During operation, the bag is firstly fed into the bag slitting station of ZBO-A series Automatic Bag Openerby a powered belt conveyor. The bag is then lifted from the conveyor to the positioning station, from where the bag is pushed by the pneumatic mechanism to the cutting station.
At the cutting station, a clean and neat cut, driven pneumatically with a sharp blade, is made through the whole bag and makes it into two halves, and then another lifting mechanism will lift the two halves at an angle, while special claws will penetrate into the bags and hold them. The bulk materials drop into the collection hopper at the bottom due to the gravity; meanwhile, pneumatic pistons will vibrate the two half bags so that the powder residues are also shaked out of the bags.
After the bag is emptied, the new bag at the positioning station will push the two half bags into the waste bag collection station, where they are packed by the bag compactor for further disposal.
The enclosed design of the bag slitting station is equipped with a dust collecting hood to collect the dust.
