Francis turbine

Francis turbine is a reaction turbine and the most common water turbine in use today. It’s of simple structure, small size, low cost and high efficiency. They operate in a head range from 10m to 700m with runner diameter from 0.35 to 4 m, and specific speed 50~300rpm. Currently the largest capacity of our single Francis turbine unit is 6000KW.

Pelton turbine

Pelton turbine is one kind of impulse turbines,used for high-head (50m~1300m) power plants.our company has streamlined the contraction of the nozzle; the energy can flow efficiently into kinetic energy of high-speed jet. While the turbine changes in the load, the water inlet speed and direction keep the same. Pelton turbine changes in a relatively small head, speed, efficiency and therefore the efficiency changes less while the load changes , the maximum efficiency can excess 91%.

Turgo turbine

One of the impulse type, applicable water head 40-300m.

The center line of jet flow with gyration plane of runner is angled 22.5° . The runner is heavily pushed by water from pressure pipe that is switched to high speed jet flow through spray nozzle. The runner works by water flow entering one side of vane and coming out from its other side. It can reliably operate with simple structure, easy inspection and maintenance.

Axial flow turbine

Applicable water head: H=2m to 40m.

Kaplan turbine has two types, fixed blade propeller and Kaplan turbine. The fixed blade type is with fixed runner, generally used for the small load and water changing; The Kaplan type is with adjustable runner by the oil pressure equipment to adapt to the load and water head changing to get the higher average efficiency of some of the Kaplan type turbine is higher than 94%.
