Direct Drive Multi Mill
Direct Drive Multi Mill is a self-contained portable unit that is widely used for milling, dispersing, shredding and breaking down of agglomerates into small size particles.
Multimill is widely used for wet and dry granulation, pulverization in pharmaceutical, chemicals etc. It operates on the principle of variable force swing beaters having both knife & impact edges rotating within a selected screen to get the required size reduction. A rotor assembly has 12 blades with knife/impact edge and 2 scrapper blades.
Material fed in the hopper passes down to the processing chamber where it moves to the periphery and passes through the screen radially and tangentially. Output depends on material characteristics, moisture content, fiber content, screen size, input particle size etc., but generally an output of 100 to 500 kg per hour can be optimally achieved.
The Machine is useful for high speed granulating, pulverising, shredding, chopping etc, a wide range of wet & dry materials without special attachments. It is also used for recovery of powder from half filled or rejected capsules.

The Machine is driven by a 2.2 kw electric motor and is designed for continuous operation. Standard Direct Drive Multi Mill is belt driven with ‘Four Stage Step Pulley’ to select rotor speed of 720 / 1500 / 2100 / 3000 rpm. Reversing switch is provided to reverse direction of rotation of rotor. AC inverter drive can be provided for stepless speed variation.
