Applications: Nitrite test kits are ideal to use for water control due to the quick and easy procedure, also important in quality controls of food, e.g. meats and spinach. Excessive amounts of nitrite can potentially be harmful to consumers, especially to infants.
2. Features of product
Quick and easy
Operation in accordance with the instructions, users can complete the nitrite test independently without specialized training, 15 minutes is enough to complete the analysis of one sample.
Accurate and reliable
Determination results with this method are in accordance with the results with the standard method. It can be used as an alternative method to the standard method.
The range of the determination is 0.01-0.5mg/L (count by nitrite radical), if the concentration is out of range, please repeat the operation after appropriate dilution of the sample.
Quantitative packing
The kit can be used for 50 tests. It is small, light and easy to carry.
3. Operation
1. Fill the tube with 15mL testing liquid, add one pack of the reagent I, wait for 5 minutes, add one pack of reagent II, wait for 10 minutes,
2. Put the tube on the colorimetric chart, and look from up to bottom, compare the color of the liquid and colors on the chart, then come out a result (mg/L).
Note:
1) Oxidant and reductant will affect the result.
2) Cu2+, Fe2+ and nitrate will lower the result.
3) Lead, Mercury and Silver ion will create sediment with reagent, eliminate the interference before testing.
