Part One : General description of the iron ore magnetic separator
Dry iron ore Magnetic Separators are designed to recover ferromagnetic materials. The separators are available in designs and sizes to provide solutions for all applications. The heart of each separator is the magnetic system with its unique design, which has a proven record of high efficiency.
As we are the manufacturer , we design the magnetic separtor according to your specific requirement . Just because this reason , we can do some technical changes under your requirement to make the separator multipurpose . The machine can also be used for mangnaese and other minerals weak magnetic sorting operation.
The Magnetic Separators are available in cyclic design with process vessel diameters smaller than 25mm ( usually less than 8mm ). Magnetic Separator is one kind of efficient equipment for processing fine, feebly magnetic minerals, such as hematite, limonite, wolfram, ilmenite, and tantalumniobium, etc. In recent years, it is also more and more applied in purifying quartz, feldspar and nephline. Its magnetic system is a ringshape chain closed magnetic circuit with energizing coils made of copper tube and cooled internally by water. Grooved plates made of magnetic conductive stainless steel are used as magnetic matrix.
Part Three : Usuage of the iron ore beneficiation with magnetic separator
When slurry flows into through across ore-feeding tank, loose ore particles enter then trough’s ore-feeding zone under waterflow of ore-feeding hosepipe. Upon magnetic field effect, magnetic particles get together and form into " magnetic mass" or " magnetic linkage", which is absorbed to the cylinder under magnetic forece when it moves toward magnetic pole. Because the polarity of magnetic pole is alternatedly disposed along the cylinder’s rotation direction and remains unchanged at work, gangue and other non-magnetic minerals among " magnetic mass" or " magnetic linkage" fall off when the cylinder rotates.Then the " magnetic mass" or " magnetic linkage" absorbed to the cylinder surface comes out as ore concentrate. Then the ore concentrate is unloaded into concentrate trough under under waterflow of ore-unloading hosepipe, when it moves to the marginal magnetic system with lowest magnetic force along the cylinder rotation. And non-magnetic or weak magnetic minerals left in the slurry is discharged out of trough, which is called gangue.
