General introduction
The suspension biological packing is called BIOCELL. It modified polymeric materials with the promoted additions of bio-enzyme, it improves the enzymatic catalysis, so it possess excellences of larger specific surface, being easy to multiply biofilm, difficult falling off, high denitrification, good hydrophile, high biological activity and so on.

Many research have shown that biocompatibility and hydrophilicity have a great influence on the performance of biological filter media. Hence, choosing materials with better biocompatibility, superior hydrophilic properties have become particularly important.
Three Years & Hundreds test result
Small Boss Company has build a long term cooperation with Singapore institutions of biological filter media for more than 3 years. By comparison test of hydrophilicity and biocompatibility, using PP, HDPE, LDPE, ABS and other plastic materials, finally show that HDPE is the most superior biological materials. And then we did dozens of HDPE comparison test again from different HDPE suppliers and different types of HDPE.After hundreds of test and selection, we finally decided to use an HDPE material as raw material of biological filter media,with excellent mechanical properties ,suitable density and best performance of biocompatibility and hydrophilicity.

Hence, it provides many more physical attachment point for micro-organisms when using HDPE filter media and also improve its hydrophilicity which favor for the growth of micro-organisms, accelerate forming membrane and improve water treatment efficiency.
