1. Product Description
This Gold CIP Recovery Plant is professionally engineered for secondary gold extraction from historical mine tailings stockpiles. Traditional tailings are usually regarded as waste materials due to their low gold grade, fine scattered gold particles and complex residual impurities, which cannot be effectively processed by conventional beneficiation equipment. This upgraded CIP plant is specially optimized for tailings materials, adopting refined grinding, anti-interference pulp conditioning and enhanced low-concentration gold leaching technology. It can efficiently extract residual fine gold and unreacted gold components accumulated in long-term tailings piles. The whole production line integrates tailings pre-screening, pulp preparation, intensified cyanide leaching, activated carbon adsorption, elution electrowinning and gold smelting processes. It perfectly adapts to the low-grade, impure and fine-grained characteristics of historical tailings, turning abandoned mine waste into reusable mineral resources. This equipment provides an economical and reliable solution for mines to reuse tailings stockpiles, improve resource utilization and create additional profits.
2. Working Principle
The plant adopts enhanced low-grade gold leaching and high-precision carbon adsorption working principle to realize effective gold recovery from historical tailings. Firstly, the stacked tailings are sent to the preprocessing unit to remove bulk impurities and homogenize material particle size, eliminating uneven material conditions caused by long-term stacking and weathering. The processed tailings materials are finely ground to fully dissociate ultra-fine gold particles wrapped in tailings powder. After professional pulp conditioning and impurity suppression treatment, the ore pulp enters the enhanced leaching system to dissolve residual trace gold stably. Different from conventional ore processing, the system adopts mild and long-term balanced reaction mode to fully extract low-concentration gold elements in tailings without wasting reagents. The low-grade gold-bearing pulp flows into the circulating carbon adsorption system, where high-activity activated carbon captures and enriches trace dissolved gold accurately. After continuous adsorption and enrichment, loaded carbon is delivered to elution and electrowinning system for gold desorption and gold sludge collection, and finally smelted into finished gold products. The entire process realizes standardized, green and efficient secondary recovery of historical tailings resources.
