Introduction to NIDEC 404.854 (DCK31 Series Worm Gear Deceleration DC Motor) Products
I. Product Overview
404.854 belongs to the NIDEC-VALEO DCK31 worm gear reduction motor series. It is a 24V permanent magnet DC worm gear reduction motor jointly developed by Nidec and Valeo. It is precisely manufactured at the European original factory. It is a standard micro drive motor for industrial automation, fluid valves, and precision conveying equipment. It is highly compatible with the transmission systems of GEA sanitary valves and board collectors. There are also general models such as 404.853, 403.957, and 405.760 in the same series.

III. Core Advantages of the Product
Self-locking and Load Safety: The worm gear and worm structure is naturally self-locking in the reverse direction. The load stays in place after power failure. It is mostly used for valve opening and closing and baffle positioning, preventing gravity sliding. It is suitable for GEA matrix valves and baffle drives of board collectors.
High Torque and Small Volume: The body is small and compact, with abundant output torque. It has low speed and high torque, and has excellent durability for frequent start-stop and intermittent loads.
Low noise and low vibration: High-precision dynamic balance of the rotor and precise grinding of the worm gear result in low temperature rise and small noise during long-term continuous operation, making it suitable for clean production lines in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Extra-long service life: European original bearings + wear-resistant worm. With regular maintenance in industrial sites, it can be used for 5 - 8 years. It is the main spare motor for dairy beverage and pharmaceutical equipment.
4. Main application scenarios
Fluid sanitary equipment: Pneumatic auxiliary drive for GEA matrix valve (B7 valve block 93W01a700), multi-way reversing valve actuator, used in sets with SW25 series valve position sensors;
PCB automation equipment: KUTTLER board collector baffle lifting and limit pushing module (the main supporting direction);
Other industries: Laboratory instruments, small pumps, medical equipment, automatic doors and windows, small conveyor lines, and drives for office precision equipment.
5. Selection and matching instructions
Same-platform replacement: 404.853, 404.855, and 403.957 are compatible models with the same installation dimensions, and the installation hole positions are universal;
Accessories: It can be paired with Hall speed sensors and encoders to achieve closed-loop speed regulation and precise positioning.
