1. Product Overview
GPX 8 is a compact planetary gearhead with an outer diameter of 8mm in the Swiss maxon GPX series. It is originally manufactured in Germany and is specifically matched with DCX 8 brushed and ECX SPEED 8 brushless micro motors. It belongs to a micro reduction transmission unit with small volume, high precision, and high power density. Compared with GPX 6, the torque carrying capacity is greatly improved while maintaining a micro body. It is mainly used in minimally invasive medical devices, precision optics, micro robots, portable analytical instruments, and airborne micro actuators.
2. Product Version Classification (Four Mainstream Configurations)
A Standard Version (General Metal Model): Steel planetary gears, suitable for general automation and medical scenarios. Standard equipped with ball output bearings.
C Ceramic Planetary Model: The planetary gears are made of ceramic materials, which are wear-resistant, have higher ultimate torque, and double the continuous service life. It is suitable for long-term uninterrupted operation.
UP Reversible High-Performance Model: The planetary gears are equipped with built-in micro needle roller bearings, with reversible transmission, low friction loss, and higher efficiency. It has force feedback characteristics and is suitable for surgical robots and flight control feedback mechanisms.
Customized Derivative Models: Low-backlash high-precision model, low-noise plastic planetary model, sterilization-adapted model, and model with shaft seal for dust and water prevention.
