Technical Principle
Feed liquid caustic soda from upstream chlor‑alkali unit is sent into multi‑effect forced‑circulation evaporation system. Under vacuum condition, lye is continuously concentrated to high‑temperature molten sodium hydroxide. High‑purity molten alkali is accurately fed onto the surface of water‑cooled rotating flaking drum. Rapid heat exchange takes place between high‑temperature lye and internal cooling medium, forming solid alkali layer on drum outer wall. A heavy‑duty scraper peels solid material off into caustic soda flakes. Finished flakes go through closed conveying, temperature equalization and impurity screening before entering automatic weighing and bagging station. Secondary steam and condensate water are recycled for heat recovery to cut external steam consumption. DCS system keeps real‑time track of evaporator vacuum, molten alkali temperature, feeding flow and flaker rotating speed to maintain stable 99% product purity.
