1. Product Overview

Industrial circulating water dedicated high concentration sodium hypochlorite generator is heavy-duty electrolytic disinfection equipment for large flow industrial cooling water systems in coastal areas. Different from low-concentration household and municipal water disinfection equipment, this unit uses saturated refined brine as raw material to produce high-titer sodium hypochlorite stock solution, which can be diluted on demand for pipeline continuous dosing. Coastal circulating water contains massive marine plankton, shellfish larvae and algae, which easily attach to heat exchange tubes and cause pipeline scaling, water flow reduction and unit energy consumption rise. The equipment realizes on-site continuous production of high-concentration disinfectant without storing bulk hazardous hypochlorite barrels, with strong salt-fog corrosion resistance, stable output under fluctuating water temperature and water volume, perfectly matching the long-term continuous operation demands of power plants, coastal chemical factories and large industrial parks.

2. Technical Principle

The system adopts high-load saturated brine intensified electrolysis technology. Industrial refined salt and softened water are automatically stirred and filtered to form saturated pure brine without impurity particles. The concentrated brine flows into MMO coated titanium reinforced electrolytic cells with enlarged reaction area. Under high-power constant DC electrolysis, chloride ions conduct sufficient electrochemical reaction to generate high-concentration sodium hypochlorite stock solution with 8-12% available chlorine. The PLC control system collects real-time circulating water flow, pipeline residual chlorine and seawater temperature data to automatically adjust electrolysis power and dosing frequency. Concentrated NaClO liquid is transported to dosing points and mixed evenly into cooling water pipelines, high active chlorine destroys marine organism cell walls and inhibits spore incubation to achieve long-term anti-biofouling effect. Excess hydrogen generated during electrolysis is collected and safely exhausted through closed ventilation pipeline to eliminate explosion risks.
