Scope of Application
It serves as security pre-filtration equipment for ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, ion exchange and electrodialysis systems. It is also an ideal unit for purification treatment of various liquids.
Brief Introduction
Security Filter (Precision Filter) is an essential filtration unit in water purification systems. It acts as intermediate filtration between sand filtration (coarse filtration) and ultrafiltration, supplying qualified feed water for downstream ultrafiltration systems. Equipped with molded filter media, the security filter operates under pressure: raw liquid flows into the mixing chamber through the inlet. Residues are trapped on the outer surface of filter media and inner wall of the housing, while permeate passes through the filter media into the clean water chamber to achieve purification. Accumulated contaminants can be discharged via the blowdown port without system shutdown. Optional molded filter cartridges include wound cartridges and melt-blown cartridges with filtration pore sizes ranging from 0.5 μm to 120 μm. There are two types of wound cartridges (honeycomb cartridges):
Polypropylene fiber with polypropylene support core, maximum operating temperature: 80°C;
Absorbent cotton fiber with stainless steel support core, maximum operating temperature: 120°C. Melt-blown cartridges are made of polypropylene, with maximum operating temperature of 80°C. This filter can remove suspended solids, colloids and fine particles from water.
Equipment Features
The housing is fully manufactured from stainless steel with mirror electrolytic polishing or matte surface treatment, featuring long service life and rust resistance.
Multiple opening structures are available: V-type quick-opening clamp and lifting ring quick-opening flange, enabling fast and convenient cartridge replacement.
Compact and small-sized structure. The optimized V-type quick-opening clamp passes pressure testing without deformation or leakage under 0.8 MPa.
Multiple outlet connection options: threaded connection, quick connector and flange for customer selection.
A blowdown port is arranged on the housing to discharge accumulated contaminants timely.
A vent port is installed on the top of the housing to release trapped air pressure.
Compact size and light weight. Anchor bolt holes are reserved at the bottom for floor mounting.
Standard-size filter cartridges, cost-effective and easy to purchase.
