Scope of Application
Impurity removal filtration of raw liquid and product liquid in chemical industry; Clarification and sterile filtration of medicinal liquid in pharmaceutical industry; Filtration of fruit juice, wine and edible oil in food and beverage industry; Filtration of boiler make-up water and condensate water in power industry.
Brief Introduction
The high-flow filter is developed for large-diameter pipelines with high flow velocity and suitable for high-throughput working conditions. It is equipped with pleated high-flow filter cartridges including Pall HFU series, Parker MHF series and 3M series. Normally installed upstream of pressure vessels, it removes fine contaminants causing turbidity above 1 NTU. It can also be arranged at the terminal of water treatment systems to avoid fine particles entering product water. As post-filtration equipment after multimedia pretreatment and upstream of membrane equipment such as reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration, it traps fine impurities (e.g. tiny quartz sand, activated carbon particles) from multimedia effluent. It ensures required water quality and protects membrane elements from damage caused by large particles. Filter cartridges are available in grades from 0.5 μm to 100 μm. Different precision grades can be selected according to water sources such as river water, raw water, reclaimed water and return water to guarantee outlet water cleanliness.
Equipment Features
The housing is constructed entirely of stainless steel with mirror electrolytic polishing or matte surface finish for long service life and rust resistance.
Pleated filter cartridges provide 5–10 times larger filtration area than conventional cartridges, with dirt holding capacity increased by 3–5 times.
The filter media features an open porosity above 50%, significantly reducing pressure loss, normally less than 0.02 MPa.
Standard national flanges are adopted for inlet and outlet, facilitating on-site installation.
Capable of withstanding high operating pressure, effectively removing suspended solids, rust and other impurities from liquid.
A vent port and pressure gauge are mounted on the top of housing to monitor cartridge operating status.
Equipped with support legs and swing arm structure for convenient cartridge replacement.
