Product introduction: GATO Tungsten Bronze is a new generation of nano-optical functional powder with high near-infrared absorption, high visible light transmittance and ultraviolet resistance. It is an inorganic thermal insulation nano raw material with comprehensive performance in the fields of coatings, films, plastic modification and optical thermal insulation, replacing traditional thermal insulation fillers such as ATO, ITO, tungsten oxide and iron oxide.

1. Spectral selectivity, far superior to traditional powders in thermal insulation and light transmission

GATO Tungsten Bronze has a unique energy band structure and selective optical absorption characteristics:

- The blocking rate of near-infrared 780–2500nm is ≥92%, strongly absorbing the heat source of sunlight, with extremely strong thermal insulation and cooling effects;
- High visible light transmittance, the made coating/film is clear, not black, not gray and has low haze;
- The full-band blocking rate of the ultraviolet band is ≥99%, with long-term anti-UV aging, anti-yellowing and anti-powdering effects.

Under the same light transmission conditions, the thermal insulation performance is 3–5 times that of ATO and 2–3 times that of ITO. It is the core raw material of transparent thermal insulation materials.

2. High temperature resistance, weather resistance, acid and alkali resistance and stable performance

GATO nano powder has an inorganic stable crystal structure and extremely strong chemical inertness:

- Temperature resistance: Resistant to high temperature oxidation, with a thermal stability temperature >500℃. It does not decompose or lose efficacy during baking and extrusion modification;
- Weather resistance: It does not decay, fade or age after long-term outdoor exposure;
- Corrosion resistance: Resistant to acid and alkali, salt spray, boiling water and damp heat;
- No migration: The inorganic crystal structure does not precipitate, migrate or bloom, unlike organic thermal insulation additives.

3. Easy to disperse, adaptable to the full range of solvents and resins

The original factory has adopted a powder surface lipophilic/hydrophilic double modification process, which can be adapted according to the customer's system:

- Aqueous system: Directly sand-milled and dispersed in pure water or alcohol-water system;
- Oily system: Common for ketones, esters, aromatics and alcohols;
- Flame retardant system: Adaptable to the RDP and BDP ester flame retardant solvent systems;
- Resin compatibility: Compatible with acrylic, polyurethane, epoxy, silicone, PC, PET, ABS and PVC.

Lipophilic modified powder/hydrophilic modified powder can be customized according to customer needs, eliminating problems such as agglomeration, coarsening, high haze and poor light transmission.

4. Extremely low addition amount and high cost performance

GATO powder has high thermal insulation efficiency. A thousandth-level addition amount can achieve excellent thermal insulation effects:

- Coating system: An addition amount of 0.3%–1.2% can achieve high thermal insulation and high light transmission;
- Film/plastic modification: 0.15%–0.8% can meet the standard;

Compared with traditional thermal insulation powders, it uses less, the paint film is more transparent, the formula is more stable and it does not affect the mechanical properties of the substrate.

The high-purity synthesis process results in extremely low metal impurities, no black spots, no coarse particles and consistent batch color differences. 5. Instructions on the powder use process

1. Dispersion method

The dry powder is mixed with the corresponding solvent/resin, and the nano-transparent state can be achieved through high-speed stirring + sanding;
Recommended sanding fineness: ≤50nm, with high light transmission and low haze of the finished product.

2. Addition ratio

Regular coatings: 0.3%–1.2%
Film/plastic: 0.15%–0.8%
High thermal insulation requirements: 1.2%–2.0%

3. Adaptable processes

Adaptable to spraying, roller coating, curtain coating, screen printing, extrusion modification, coating production and high-temperature baking processes.

4. Storage conditions

Store in a dry and sealed place, protect from moisture and humidity, and store at room temperature away from light;
The powder has extremely weak moisture absorption, and its performance does not decay after normal storage for 12 months.
