Product Overview
We provide martensitic stainless steel 420, 420F, 422 and 431. Available forms contain round bars, steel plates and forged blanks with stable chemical composition and qualified metallographic structure.
Grade performance explanation
420: Typical hardenable martensitic steel, widely used for knives, moulds and general corrosion-resistant wear parts.
420F: Sulfur added free-cutting variant of 420, easy for automatic lathe processing while retaining quenching hardness.
422: Heat-resistant martensitic alloy, stable mechanical property at medium temperature for turbine shafts and boiler fittings.
431: High nickel martensitic steel with superior corrosion resistance and tensile strength for high-load structural components.
Processing & quality control
Support cutting, forging, quenching & tempering heat treatment and surface polishing. Strict factory testing is conducted with complete test documents for customer audit.
Main application fields
Plastic moulds, medical cutters, steam turbine parts, high-pressure valve assemblies, pump shafts and high-strength fasteners.
Export packaging
Wrap materials with rust-proof paper and waterproof film, secured with steel bands. Precision bars and forgings are sealed in plywood cases to prevent impact damage and rust during ocean transportation.
