2.1 Models for Oil & Gas Transmission Pipes

  1. API 5L is the most widely adopted standard for oil & gas transmission pipes. It covers a full series of steel grades from L175 to X120, which is the preferred standard model of oil tubing for global long-distance oil and gas pipeline projects.

  2. X42, X52, X60, X65, X70 and X80 are the most commonly used models of oil & gas transmission pipes in foreign trade orders. Each steel grade corresponds to specific pressure levels and transmission distances, applicable to onshore, subsea and other working scenarios.

  3. Low-temperature resistant oil & gas transmission pipes under API 5L standard are available for cold regions. They are designed with improved low-temperature impact toughness to prevent brittle fracture of oil tubing.

2.2 Models for Special Petroleum Pipes

  1. API 5CT is the core standard for special petroleum pipes, covering a complete range of steel grades for tubing and casing. It is the universal international standard for downhole oil tubing.

  2. Mainstream models of special petroleum pipes include J55, K55, N80, L80, C90, T95, P110 and Q125, matching different downhole pressure and corrosion conditions. Among them, N80, L80 and P110 are the most popular special petroleum pipes for regular oilfield projects.

  3. API 5DP is the dedicated standard for drill pipe type special petroleum pipes. Typical models such as E75, X95, G105 and S135 fit drilling operations at different depths, which are indispensable oil tubing for drilling engineering.

2.3 Custom Models

  1. Diameter: Seamless oil & gas transmission pipes range from DN15 to DN650. Welded oil & gas transmission pipes are available in DN200 to DN3000, covering pipeline demands from oilfield gathering lines to cross-regional long-distance pipelines.

  2. Wall thickness: The wall thickness of oil & gas transmission pipes is 2.5mm to 60mm. Custom wall thickness is available according to transmission pressure and burial depth to ensure the strength and stability of oil tubing.

  3. Length: Standard fixed lengths are 6m and 12m. Non-fixed length and customized fixed length are also acceptable to adapt to on-site installation.

3.2 Dimensions of Special Petroleum Pipes

  1. Casing type special petroleum pipes: Outer diameter from 4-1/2" to 20", wall thickness 5.0mm to 25.4mm. Three standard length ranges: R1 (4.88~7.62m), R2 (7.62~10.36m), R3 (10.36~14.63m). Clients can select proper oil tubing based on well depth and borehole pressure.

  2. Tubing type special petroleum pipes: Outer diameter from 1.05" to 4-1/2", wall thickness 3.18mm to 10.54mm. Thread types include EU (External Upset), NU (Non-Upset) and premium connections, meeting different oil production demands.

  3. Drill pipe type special petroleum pipes: Outer diameter from 2-3/8" to 6-5/8", wall thickness 9.19mm to 15.49mm. Standard length is R2 (about 9.14m). This kind of oil tubing is the key component for torque transmission and mud circulation during drilling.

3.3 Custom Dimensions
