GB/T 9948 is the Chinese national standard for seamless steel tubes used in petrochemical and chemical refining facilities. This standard covers petroleum cracking tubes, high-pressure fertilizer equipment tubes, high-pressure polyethylene alloy steel tubes, and stainless steel furnace tubes for hydrogenation units .

These tubes are specifically designed for severe service conditions including:
