Compared to traditional steel sluice dams and earth-rock dams, rubber dams, as a new type of hydraulic engineering facility, have become the preferred equipment for river regulation, water storage and irrigation, landscape water systems, and flood control and drainage projects due to their excellent product performance, high cost-effectiveness, and wide adaptability. They comprehensively address industry pain points such as high construction costs, cumbersome operation and maintenance, severe water blockage, and easy wear and tear of traditional dams.
The product is crafted using a multi-layer composite process involving high-strength nylon cord fabric and special rubber, resulting in a tightly structured and sturdy design. It is resistant to wear, tear, aging, and UV rays, and can withstand high and low temperatures, water flow scouring, and sediment erosion over a long period of time. Its anti-corrosion and anti-rust properties far surpass those of metal dams, ensuring a longer service life when wading outdoors and stable operation even in harsh water environments. The flexible dam body exhibits excellent shock resistance and impact resistance, making it less prone to damage and deformation due to water flow impact or slight foundation settlement.
In terms of project implementation and cost, rubber dams stand out with their distinct advantages. Their overall structure is simple, with a lightweight design that requires no complex infrastructure support. The installation and construction are convenient, significantly shortening the project duration and effectively reducing labor and infrastructure costs. Compared to traditional gate dams, the comprehensive cost can be saved by more than 30%. Furthermore, there are no issues such as rusting or jamming of metal components, making maintenance and replacement less frequent in the later stages, resulting in extremely low operation and maintenance costs.
The equipment also boasts excellent hydraulic performance, allowing for rapid lifting and lowering of the dam body through inflation and water filling, ensuring flexible and precise regulation. During the flood season, the dam can be fully collapsed to facilitate flood discharge, ensuring zero water resistance and no sedimentation, thereby safeguarding the safety of flood discharge in the river channel. In the dry season, it can efficiently store water, raise the water level of the river channel, conserve water and soil, and improve the ecology. Additionally, the specifications and exterior colors can be customized to fit various scenarios such as urban landscape rivers and rural irrigation water systems, balancing practical hydraulic value with waterfront landscape beautification effects.
