Detailed Product Description
Our three-effect forced circulation evaporation crystallizer is engineered for the demanding needs of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The system consists of three heating chambers (calandrias) connected in series, each with its own separation vessel and forced circulation pump. The feed liquor circulates through the heating tubes at high velocity (2–4 m/s), preventing scaling and maintaining high heat transfer coefficients even when processing viscous or crystalline slurries.
The vapor produced in the first effect is used as the heating medium in the second effect, and so on, dramatically reducing overall energy consumption. This design is particularly advantageous for concentrating solutions like ammonium sulfate, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, glucose, citric acid, and various pharmaceutical intermediates.
