What makes a hospital cleaning cabinet different
Most janitor cabinets work fine in an office building. Toss in some paper towels, a few spray bottles, hang a mop. No problem.
Put that same cabinet in a hospital and things change fast. Daily bleach wipes attack the finish. Wet mops sit in a sealed box and never dry. Chemical bottles line the shelves with no lock in sight. Hospital cleaning storage is not general-purpose storage. Three things have to be right: the material has to survive constant chemical disinfection, chemicals have to be locked up, and wet mops can't leave standing water. Miss any one of those and you fail inspection.

Why 304 stainless steel for hospitals
201 stainless steel works for schools, hotels, and commercial buildings. Hospitals are different. The cabinet gets wiped down daily with bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and quaternary ammonium disinfectants. 304 has higher nickel content, which means better corrosion resistance under repeated chemical exposure. What Joint Commission and OSHA actually check
Joint Commission (Environment of Care EC.02.06.01):
Hazardous chemicals must be stored in a locked enclosure
Storage areas must be clean and organized
Equipment must be maintained to prevent contamination
OSHA (29 CFR 1910.1450 — Hazard Communication):

The drawer sits below the bottom shelf. Sized for quart and gallon bottles — enough for daily concentrates, disinfectants, and floor care chemicals. Key is separate from the main door lock. Cleaning staff access the cabinet for routine supplies; only supervisors access the concentrated chemicals.
For hospitals tracking chemical usage by department, the drawer can take a padlock hasp for tamper-evident seals.
Drainage for infection control, not just rust prevention
In a commercial building, drainage keeps the cabinet from rusting. In a hospital, drainage prevents standing water from becoming a breeding surface. Different purpose, same solution.
The 304 stainless steel drip tray catches water from hanging mops and directs it through the 25mm drain hole. Connect a hose to a floor drain or mop sink. Water goes straight to the sewer, never sits in the cabinet.
Routine cleaning: pull the tray, spray with disinfectant, rinse, dry, slide it back. One minute.
