Our Double Roller Crusher for Mineral Beneficiation is a high-precision, heavy-duty crushing unit specifically designed for fine and intermediate crushing stages within mineral processing circuits. In ore beneficiation (the process of separating valuable minerals from waste rock), over-crushing can lead to excessive "slimes"—fine powder that is incredibly difficult to recover during downstream flotation or gravity separation. This twin roll crusher resolves that challenge by providing highly controlled, compressive crushing for metallic and non-metallic ores such as iron ore, copper, gold, manganese, limestone, and quartz. It ensures optimal liberation size while preserving the structural integrity of mineral grains.

Working Principle
The equipment uses a direct-pressure compression method between two synchronized rollers to break down ore along its natural mineral grain boundaries:
Chamber Gravity Feeding: Coarsely crushed ore is fed uniformly across the width of the rollers into the upper intake hopper.
Synchronous Compression: Dual heavy-duty electric motors drive the high-mass rollers to rotate toward each other. The ore is grabbed by the moving surfaces and drawn down into the narrowing gap.
Controlled Fissure Cracking: The immense compressive force fractures the rock precisely down to the thickness of the setting gap. Because the material passes through the gap only once, it eliminates the repeated impact grinding that creates useless mineral dust.
Hydraulic Tramp Iron Release: If an uncrushable material like a broken excavator tooth or drill bit enters the chamber, the hydraulic cylinders instantly compress, allowing the movable roller to back away. The foreign object passes safely into the discharge chute, and the system automatically resets to its precise beneficiation gap sizing within seconds.
