This dam consists of core components including high-strength steel shield plates, durable rubber air bladders, fixed anchoring systems, safety restraint belts and intelligent pneumatic control units. The steel shield plates serve as the rigid water-retaining barrier, resisting water impact, sediment erosion and floating object collision, ensuring outstanding structural stability and durability. The thickened composite rubber air bladders, installed under the shield plates, act as the flexible power support system, with excellent air tightness, ageing resistance and pressure resistance to adapt to complex underwater working environments. All components are prefabricated and modularized, enabling convenient on-site assembly and replacement.
Its working principle relies on precise pneumatic regulation. The matched air compressor system inflates the rubber bladders to lift the steel shield plates to a preset height for water retention and water level regulation. When air is exhausted or vacuumed, the bladders deflate steadily, allowing the shield plates to lie flat on the riverbed under gravity and water pressure. This fully flattened state creates a smooth river channel without blocking water flow or affecting river navigation and sediment transport, realizing rapid flood discharge. The intelligent control system supports stepless adjustment of dam height, achieving accurate water level control within the design range and allowing top overflow to adapt to variable water flow conditions.
It requires low foundation investment and short construction period, greatly reducing project costs. The fully automatic pneumatic control realizes unattended operation, minimizing daily maintenance and labor costs. In terms of safety, it is equipped with redundant pressure compensation devices and safety restraint structures, maintaining stable operation under pressure fluctuations and turbulent water conditions, and effectively avoiding structural damage. Moreover, its flattened design minimizes impact on river ecological environments, protecting aquatic habitats and realizing harmonious coexistence between water conservancy facilities and ecological systems.
