Hyperform (R) HPN-68L is a polypropylene high-efficiency nucleating agent. It can provide the highest crystallization temperature and the shortest crystallization period for polypropylene. The ultra-high-speed nucleation effect of HPN-68L combined with its isotropic contraction property can shorten the molding cycle of polypropylene products, improve the warpage deformation of the products, and at the same time enhance the rigidity and heat deformation temperature of polypropylene.
1. High crystallization temperature, significantly shortens the molding cycle of injection molded products and improves production efficiency;
2. Reduces warping and deformation of the products, increases product qualification rate;
3. Eliminates air bubbles in PP products;
4. Enhances the rigidity and heat resistance of PP products;
5. Regulates the nucleation effect of color powder, ensuring consistent size and process of products of different colors;
6. Complies with FDA certification, does not migrate or leach, and has high hygiene safety.
【Application Scope】
Hyperform (R) HPN-68L can be applied in extrusion, injection molding, and compression molding processes of polypropylene. Typical applications are as follows:
1. Food packaging boxes, disposable water cups, jelly cups;
2. Stationery products, household items, boxes， organizing boxes；
3. Automobiles， small household appliances modified materials；
4. Plastic bottle caps， medical syringes， chemical vessels， etc.
【Performance Advantages】
Hyperform (R) HPN-68L is an organic salt nucleating agent that does not produce any odor and does not migrate or leach. It has high hygiene safety， low addition amount， and high cost-effectiveness.
[Application Guidelines]
Recommended dosage: It is recommended to add 0.05% to 0.2% of Hyperform (R) HPN-68L to achieve optimal performance. The exact dosage should be adjusted according to actual needs.
Mixing and dispersion: It is recommended to vigorously mix Hyperform (R) HPN-68L with polypropylene powder or granules at high speed, and then transfer it to the extruder feeder for extrusion and granulation. A small amount of white mineral oil can be added as needed to promote the dispersion of the transparent agent and prevent uneven discharge.
Alternatively, Hyperform (R) HPN-68L can be prepared as a high-concentration masterbatch and added in the prescribed proportion to dilute it to the desired dosage.
Extrusion granulation: It is recommended to use a twin-screw extruder or a single-screw granulator with high mixing capacity. Good dispersion helps to enhance the light-transmitting effect of Hyperform (R) HPN-68L. The extrusion temperature is recommended to be above 230°C.
