Fluorine-lined ball valves belong to the same category of valves as plug valves; however, they differ in that the ball valve utilizes a ball with a circular through-hole as the opening and closing element. The ball rotates around the valve body's centerline, driven by the stem, to open or close the valve.
I. The company’s ball valve series is primarily the Q41F46 model, available in two structural configurations: two-piece and three-piece. In addition to the standard advantages of ball valves—such as low fluid resistance, rapid operation, and simple construction—they feature the following: 1. Valves lined with FEP exhibit high chemical stability and are suitable for handling virtually any highly corrosive medium, with the exception of molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine.
2. Featuring a full-bore, floating ball design, the valve ensures leak-free shutoff across its entire pressure range, facilitating smooth pipeline flow and easier maintenance.
3. The ball and stem are cast (or forged) as a single, integrated unit. This eliminates the risk of the stem being blown out of the pressure-retaining assembly due to pressure fluctuations, fundamentally ensuring operational safety.
4. The design is compact and rational, with minimal internal cavity space to reduce medium retention. Excellent sealing integrity, combined with a chevron-style PTFE packing arrangement, achieves zero-leakage performance.
5. The two-piece and three-piece configurations accommodate diverse pipeline systems and operating conditions; notably, the three-piece design allows the main body to be separated from the side bodies, enabling rapid in-line replacement and maintenance.
II. Actuation methods: Manual, worm gear, pneumatic, and electric.
Fluorine-lined valves—valves lined with fluoroplastics—offer exceptional corrosion resistance. This category includes fluorine-lined ball valves, flanged butterfly valves, wafer butterfly valves, gate valves, globe valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, and control valves. These valves can be equipped with worm gear, electric, or pneumatic actuators to enable automated control. Fluorine-lined ball valve models manufactured by Shanghai Naifu Valve Group include Q41F46-16C, Q341F46-16C, Q641F46-16C, Q941F46-16C, Q41PFA-16C, Q341PFA-16C, Q641PFA-16C, Q941PFA-16C, and others.
