1. Product Definition
Checkered plate, also known as anti-slip plate or embossed plate, is a functional plate with regular raised patterns rolled on the surface of carbon steel, aluminum alloy and other plates through hot rolling, cold rolling or stamping processes. It features four core advantages: anti-slip performance, load-bearing capacity, decorative effect and drainage performance, and is widely applied in anti-slip scenarios of industry, construction, transportation and other fields.

4. Pattern Types and Parameters
4.1 Mainstream Patterns (National Standard 3 Types)
Diamond Pattern (L): Features diamond grid protrusions with good drainage performance and attractive appearance. It is the preferred choice for general scenarios with a friction coefficient of 0.6-0.7.
Bean Pattern (B): Features strip-shaped lenticular protrusions with optimal anti-slip performance. Suitable for heavy-load and humid environments such as workshop floors and docks, with a friction coefficient ≥ 0.7.
Round Bean Pattern (Y): Features round and smooth protrusions with mild touch, ideal for public places such as mall stairs and elevators.
4.2 Pattern Parameters
Protrusion Height: 0.5-2mm (not included in the base plate thickness, generally 20%-30% of the base plate thickness).
Pattern Spacing: 20-30mm with symmetrical distribution to avoid unilateral slipping risks.
5. Specification Dimensions (GB/T 3277-2017)
5.1 Base Plate Thickness (Excluding Pattern Protrusions)
Common thickness: 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm, 6.0mm, 8.0mm (range: 1.5-12mm).
Thickness tolerance: ±0.3mm for thickness ≤3mm; ±0.4mm for thickness >3mm.
5.2 Width
Standard width: 1000mm, 1250mm, 1500mm, 1800mm (customizable up to 2000mm), tolerance ±10mm.
5.3 Length
Standard length: 2000mm, 4000mm, 6000mm, 8000mm (custom cutting available).
5.4 Theoretical Weight (Carbon Steel, Density: 7.85g/cm³)
Calculation Formula: Weight (kg) = Thickness (mm) × Width (m) × Length (m) × 7.85.
Example: The weight of 4mm×1.25m×2.5m checkered plate = 4×1.25×2.5×7.85 = 98.125kg.
6. Core Performance
1. Anti-slip Performance: The friction coefficient is ≥0.6 in dry environments and ≥0.4 in humid environments; the bean pattern plate can reach 0.7, complying with industrial safety specifications.
2. Mechanical Performance: Q355B checkered plate has a tensile strength of 470-630MPa and can withstand pressure of 2-5MPa, suitable for heavy-load platforms.
3. Corrosion Resistance: Hot-dip galvanized steel has a galvanized layer thickness of ≥85μm with a service life of 5-10 years outdoors; weather resistant steel is applicable to long-term outdoor corrosive environments with excellent aging resistance.
4. Processing Performance: It can be cut, bent, welded and punched, and customized into special-shaped parts to meet on-site installation requirements.
5. Drainage and Anti-fouling Performance: The gaps between patterns form drainage channels to reduce water and dust accumulation, enabling easy cleaning and maintenance.
7. Surface Treatment Technology
1. Hot Rolled Black Surface: Original surface with low cost, requiring paint coating for rust prevention, applicable to ordinary industrial scenarios.
2. Hot-dip Galvanizing: With a galvanized layer of 85-120μm, it features strong corrosion resistance and maintenance-free performance, suitable for humid and outdoor environments.
3. Anti-corrosion Coating: Coated with anti-rust paint and fireproof coating, with a fire resistance limit of 1-2 hours, used for fire stairs and factory fire prevention zones.
