Anti-static PVC floor copper foil is the core conductive material in a direct-laying anti-static PVC flooring grounding system. Installed as a mesh network on the floor surface, it collects static electricity conducted from the PVC flooring and rapidly discharges it into the ground. It is an essential component for anti-static projects in data centers, electronic workshops, and cleanrooms, complying with the national standard SJ/T31469-2002 for anti-static flooring installation and the IEC 61340 anti-static standard. The base material is T2 oxygen-free red copper with a purity of ≥99.9%, featuring extremely low impurity content, stable conductivity, excellent oxidation resistance, and ease of bending and welding.

 

II. Product Categories

1. Bare copper foil (adhesive-free copper foil, mainstream in engineering)

Soft-rolled copper foil without adhesive backing, bonded to the ground via anti-static conductive adhesive. Ideal for large-scale factories and data centers, offering optimal electrical conductivity stability and long service life.

2. Single-sided adhesive copper foil (copper foil tape)

Single-sided conductive pressure-sensitive adhesive, specially designed for small-area modifications and scattered spot applications. No need to apply glue—simply peel and stick for convenient installation, with conductivity performance equivalent to bare copper.

III. Standard Specifications

1. Thickness: Standard options are 0.025mm, 0.04mm are the standard thickness commonly used for flooring.

2. Width: 10mm/15mm/20mm being commonly used for ESD tile / ESD sheet, 30mm/40mm/50mm being commonly used in data center projects

3. Electrical specifications: Copper resistivity ≤ 0.0175 Ω·mm²/m, interconnect resistance between copper foil grids

4. Form: Coiled in rolls, available in 100m or 200m per roll, can be cut to custom lengths as required.

IV. Core Features

1. Static Dissipation Main Path: Static electricity generated by friction on the surface of PVC flooring is conducted through conductive adhesive down to the copper foil, then discharged into the ground via the grounding terminal, effectively preventing static accumulation that could damage chips and precision components.

2. Establish an equipotential network: a grid pattern laid across the floor ensures uniform electrical potential throughout the entire house, eliminating the risk of sparking due to voltage differences.

3. Auxiliary electromagnetic shielding: reduces low-frequency electromagnetic noise on the ground, protecting servers and precision instruments from electromagnetic interference.

5. Standard Installation Process

1. Surface preparation: The base surface must be dry, free of dust and oil stains, and meet the required flatness standards.

2. Mesh layout: Standard 600×600 mm grid pattern (compatible with 600 mm PVC anti-static flooring); for large workshops, optional 1200×1200 mm checkerboard pattern; copper foil crossover overlap ≥30 mm, with conductive adhesive applied at the overlapping areas to ensure electrical continuity.

3. Grounding requirements: At least 4 grounding points per 100㎡ of floor area, with copper foil terminals connected to 4mm² stranded grounding wires leading to the building's equipotential bonding bar; the independent grounding resistance of the server room shall be ≤4Ω.

4. Inspection: Use a megohmmeter to spot-check the conductivity resistance of the grid; reattach any points that fail the test.

6. Applicable Scenarios

All areas requiring anti-static PVC flooring, including data center rooms, semiconductor cleanrooms, SMT assembly workshops, lithium battery production lines, precision instrument laboratories, pharmaceutical GMP cleanrooms, and monitoring rooms.
