Description
G-7 is a high-performance glass-cloth reinforced silicone laminate with a natural cream-to-white color. It is made by impregnating continuous woven glass cloth with thermosetting silicone resin, providing excellent heat and arc resistance. G-7 maintains good electrical insulation even under humid conditions and performs reliably at high temperatures up to 220 °C (392 °F). While silicone may be less strong than epoxies at low temperatures, it retains superior mechanical strength after prolonged exposure above 220℃.
