SH2504 High-speed Hard Disk Copier uses SATA interface for transmission. It can copy three SATA hard disks simultaneously, with a copying speed of up to 18GB/min. Operation Steps
1. After connecting the power supply, connect the source disk to the left interface of the copier, and connect the target disk to the second, third, and fourth ports.
2. On the copier, directly select the copy function button to start copying.
3. After copying is completed, directly pull out the hard drive.
Common Questions
1. Will it damage my original master disk?
Answer: The master disk ports of the copier are all designed to be read-only, and will only read the data of the master disk without any write operations on the master disk, so the master disk will not be tampered with or damaged.
2. Do I need to format or clear the original data in the target disk?
Answer: As long as you confirm that the master source is correct, there is no need to format or clear the data in the target disk. You can directly perform copying on the copier, and the copier will automatically overwrite the original data in the target disk.
3. How do I know that the copying is completed?
Answer: The copier is equipped with working indicator lights or there will be a "beep" prompt sound after copying is completed. A flashing green light indicates that it is working, a steady green light indicates that the work is completed, a red indicator light indicates an abnormal copy, and a yellow indicator light indicates the power-on state.
4. Can I copy when the master disk is small and the target disk is large?
Answer: It can be copied. If it is used on an industrial computer, it is recommended to use the same capacity as the master disk. Some old industrial computers cannot recognize large-capacity disks. If the target disk used is larger than the master disk, then after copying is completed, the capacity of the target disk will also become the same as that of the master disk. For example, if the master disk is 4GB and the target disk is 16GB, after copying is completed, the target disk will also become 4GB (the extra space is hidden, and the original capacity can be restored by performing a formatting on the copier once).
5. Can I copy data from a large source disk to a small target disk?
Answer: It depends on the specific situation of the source disk. If the data partitions on the source disk are all arranged at the front and the actual size of the data does not exceed the actual capacity of the target disk, the copy can be made. Otherwise, the copy cannot be made. (This method has certain requirements for the hard disk format. It is not recommended to use this method for operation.)
