The floor convector is a terminal equipment of floor-type air-conditioning system, which originated from the curtain wall air-conditioning system in Europe. It is mainly used in public buildings, offices and hospitals with glass curtain walls or French windows, and has the functions of cooling, heating, fresh air supply and dehumidification [1]. The equipment uses water as the medium, and has built-in high-efficiency heat exchanger and cross-flow fan, which supplies air upward through aluminum alloy grille, forms a thermal barrier to block cold air flow in winter, realizes laminar settlement of cold air in summer, and maintains indoor air quality with central air conditioning. According to the type of fan, it can be divided into forced convector (supporting refrigeration/heating/fresh air) and natural convector (heating only). The thickness of the latter can be as low as 100mm, which is suitable for domestic environment [2]. The vertical air supply mode with attached curtain wall and R410A environmental protection refrigerant have the characteristics of low noise and low energy consumption, and can be connected to the building automatic control system to realize intelligent regulation [1]. The installation method covers overhead floor, buried trench and protruding ground, and the grid structure has both load-bearing and customized design, and can be disassembled and cleaned during maintenance [2]. By compensating cold and heat radiation loss, it directionally regulates air flow, effectively solves the problem of temperature stratification of traditional air conditioners, eliminates dew condensation on curtain walls, and reduces the risk of bacteria breeding, which is outstanding in quiet places such as libraries and high-rise curtain wall buildings.
