1. Product Definition
Precision tubes are high-precision and high-brightness seamless steel tubes manufactured through cold drawing / cold rolling processes. Made from hot-rolled seamless steel tubes or continuous casting billets via multiple cold working, heat treatment and finishing procedures, they feature far superior dimensional accuracy and surface quality compared with ordinary seamless tubes. Their core advantages include ultra-tight tolerance, smooth inner wall and uniform mechanical properties.
2. Manufacturing Process
1. Raw Material: High-quality hot-rolled seamless steel tubes or continuous casting billets are adopted as raw materials.
2. Cold Working: Multi-pass cold rolling or cold drawing to gradually reduce diameter and wall thickness and improve dimensional accuracy.
3. Heat Treatment: Bright annealing under protective atmosphere to eliminate internal stress and restore toughness.
4. Finishing: Straightening, non-destructive testing (UT/ET), precision cleaning and polishing.
5. Packaging: Moisture-proof and sealed packaging to prevent rusting and collision damage during transportation.
3. Material and Specifications
3.1 Common Materials
- Carbon Steel: 10#, 20#, 35#, 45# (cost-effective, widely used for structural and hydraulic applications).
- Alloy Steel: 20Cr, 40Cr, 20CrMo, 42CrMo, 16Mn, 27SiMn (high strength and wear resistance).
3.2 Dimension Range
- Outer Diameter: 3–219mm (standard), customized large diameter up to 325mm.
- Wall Thickness: 1–20mm, customized thin and thick walls available.

- Appearance: Free of oxide scale, cracks, scratches and scabs; clean inner and outer walls for direct assembly.

- Tensile Strength: 550–800MPa (adjustable according to material and process).
- Yield Strength: ≥330MPa (20# steel), ≥510MPa (20CrMo).

9. Delivery Status
- Cold Hard (BK): No heat treatment after cold working, featuring high hardness and low plasticity, suitable for minor deformation processing.
- Annealed (GBK): Protected atmosphere annealing to eliminate internal stress, provide good plasticity and easy processing performance.
- Normalized (NBK): Optimized metal structure with excellent machinability, ideal for mechanical processing parts.
10. Packaging and Marking
- Packaging: Wrapped with moisture-proof and rust-proof film and woven bags / wooden cases, with plastic end caps for pipe sealing.
- Marking: Each tube is printed with specifications, material, standard, batch number and manufacturer information, accompanied by official quality certificates.
