Cold Rolled Steel Coil (CRC) Product Specification
1. Product Overview
Cold rolled steel coil is produced by taking hot rolled steel coil as raw material. After pickling to remove scale, the material is continuously rolled at room temperature (below recrystallization temperature). Compared with hot rolled steel coil, it features smooth surface, high dimensional accuracy and superior strength and hardness, serving as a key basic material for automotive, home appliance and light industries.
2. Production Process
Hot rolled steel coil → Pickling (descaling) → Cold continuous rolling → Annealing (optional, to improve ductility) → Finishing → Slitting & Packaging
Key processes: Cold continuous rolling (to enhance precision and strength at room temperature); Annealing (to eliminate work hardening and recover stamping performance)
Delivery form: Coiled material or cut flat sheets

Adjustable mechanical properties: Annealed products have good ductility; tensile strength can be customized within 270–980 MPa.
Wide processing adaptability: Available for shearing, stamping, bending and welding for complex forming.

7. Packaging & Marking
Packaging: Horizontal packing with moisture-proof anti-rust film, cardboard and steel strapping to prevent collision and rust.
Marking: Grade, dimension, weight, batch number, executive standard and production date are marked on coil surface.
8. Storage & Transportation
Storage: Store indoors in dry and ventilated areas with relative humidity ≤ 60%. Keep away from rain, moisture and corrosive substances; place horizontally or vertically.
Transportation: Cover with moisture-proof materials. Handle with care to avoid impact, dragging, surface scratch and deformation.
