Adjustable Shelf Tool Cart for CNC Holders — Red ABS Trays, Locking Drawers, Designed for Multi-Machine Workstations
Product Spotlights
Multi-Machine Workstation — One Cart, All Your Holders, Adjustable for Any Layout
One Machinist. Three Machines. One Cart.
Most shops run a cart per machine. But what if you're the only machinist running three shifts? Or a setup person who moves between workstations all day?
Three machines. That's thirty or forty holders total — holders for three different setups, three different parts. If each machine had its own cart, you'd need three. Space gets tight. Setup time increases — you spend time moving carts, not machining parts.
This cart is built for one person, multiple machines.
One cart holds holders for Machine A. One cart holds holders for Machine B. One cart holds holders for Machine C.
But you only need one.
Why an Adjustable Shelf Is the Difference
Think about your workstations:
Machine A uses large tooling — long drills, face mills, heavy boring bars
Machine B uses medium-sized inserts — end mills, slot drills
Machine C uses small accessories — tap holders, thread mills, micro tools
If the shelf is fixed, you have to compromise. Lower shelf can fit Machine A, but Machine B's tools won't fit. Higher shelf fits Machine B, but Machine A's large tools are blocked.
Adjustable shelf changes the game.
Lower the shelf one notch — now it fits Machine A. Raise it a couple notches — now Machine B's tools fit. Machine C gets its own section at the top.
No cart swaps. No reorganizing. No downtime between machines.

One cart. Three setups. No downtime between.
What Makes This Cart Different
| Feature | Why It Matters for Multi-Machine Setup |
|---|---|
| Adjustable shelf | Shelf height matches tool layout for each machine |
| Double-deck trays | Large tools on top, small tools below — no top-heavy instability |
| Locking drawers | Small accessories (tap holders, thread mills) secure when cart is parked |
| Swivel casters | Roll cart from Machine A to B to C without bumping |
| Red ABS trays | Easy visual scan — see every holder at a glance in dim shop lighting |
| Side hooks | Tap wrenches, dial indicators, calipers hang on side — top stays clear |
Comparison: Cart vs Fixed Racks
| Scenario | Fixed Tool Racks | One Multi-Machine Cart |
|---|---|---|
| Space used | 3 separate racks (3 machines × 1 rack each) | 1 cart + 1 rack for storage |
| Setup time | Walk to each rack, dig for holders | Roll cart to machine, grab holders in 30 seconds |
| Tool organization | Same layout for all machines (inflexible) | Shelf adjustable per machine (flexible) |
| Small parts security | Scattered, easy to lose | Locking drawers (always secure) |
| Movement | None — racks stay in place | One cart moves between machines |
| Total footprint | 3 racks × 1.2m² = 3.6m² | 1 cart + 1 storage rack = ~2m² |
Result: 44% less floor space used, 40% faster setup time, flexible tool organization.

FAQ
Q: How many machines can one cart serve?
That depends on your tools. Typically, one cart handles 2–4 machines if holders are sorted by machine. More machines is possible, but you'll need to rotate which machine uses which section of the cart each shift.
Q: Can I adjust the shelf while the cart is parked next to a machine?
Yes. The shelf adjusts with the cart parked. Loosen the locking screws, move to your desired height, tighten. Takes under a minute.
Q: Do I need dedicated trays for each machine?
Not mandatory, but recommended. If you have 3 machines, label trays A, B, C. Keep Machine A holders in trays A, Machine B in trays B, etc. No time wasted matching tools to machines each setup.
Q: How stable is the cart when fully loaded?
Fully loaded, the cart is stable. Adjustable shelf distributes load evenly across the cabinet frame. The casters have brakes — when parked, the cart doesn't roll.
Q: Can I get a sample before buying multiple carts?
Yes. Sample orders ship at standard rates and lead time. If you proceed with bulk orders, we apply the sample shipping cost as a credit toward the bulk order.
Q: What's your MOQ?
No MOQ. One cart, five carts, ten carts — we ship whatever you need.
Q: Do you provide drawings for installation?
Yes. CAD drawings and dimension sheets provided with quote. Helps you verify fit and mark machine positions for cart placement.
Q: What's the warranty period?
1 year on cabinet and frame. 6 months on ABS trays. Labor not included — replacement parts ship free of charge.
