1. Product Definition

Deformed steel bar, full name Hot-Rolled Ribbed Bar (HRB), is round steel with two longitudinal ribs and evenly distributed crescent transverse ribs on the surface. It is widely used in reinforced concrete structures, which can greatly enhance bonding force with concrete, prevent relative sliding and improve overall structural stability.

2. Execution Standards

  • National Standard: GB 1499.2-2018 Steel for Reinforced Concrete-Part 2: Hot Rolled Ribbed Bars

  • Seismic Reinforcement: Grade marked with letter "E" (e.g. HRB400E), meeting special seismic performance indicators

  • International Equivalent Standards: ISO 6935, ASTM A615, BS 4449

3. Steel Grade & Strength Grade

  • HRB335 (Grade II Steel): Yield strength ≥335MPa, Tensile strength ≥455MPa, Elongation ≥16%, applied to small and medium-sized civil buildings.
