Notes for installation, commissioning and use of FRP cooling towers:
1、The basic drawings and installation dimensions in this manual are for reference during installation.
The direction of the inlet and outlet pipes of the small counterflow tower can be arbitrarily selected in the horizontal position, but it shall not collide with the foundation. For the foundation in the middle, its load should be 25%, and the remaining 75% shall be evenly borne by the peripheral rectangular foundation. If it is installed on the roof, the additional pressure caused by the load should be considered.
2、A support should be installed at the connection between the cooling tower and the inlet and outlet pipes to prevent excessive weight from pressing on the tower wall.
3、The fan blades should be adjusted before installation and use to keep the angles consistent. The method is to make a mark on the front and rear edges of each blade at a distance of 150 millimeters from the blade tip. Then measure the distances from the front and rear edges of each blade from the lower chord of the support respectively to calculate the height difference between the front and rear edges of each blade at this point. After several adjustments, it is qualified when the height differences are consistent.
4、After wiring the motor, seal the junction box and ensure that the current test value does not exceed the rated current of the motor.
5、When starting the cooling tower, always turn on the water pump first and then the fan. It is not allowed to run the fan without water spraying. The fan can be reversed at a low speed for a short time to remove ice.
6、The reducer should be filled with oil before use. 50-grade anti - wear gear oil or engine oil can be used for lubrication. The oil should be replaced after the initial operation of 100 - 300 hours, and then replaced every 3000 - 5000 hours. The oil level should be appropriate, and the oil level gauge should be easy to observe.
7、When the cooling tower is in operation, it should be managed by a dedicated person. Always pay attention to the changes in current and water temperature, and regularly inspect the motor, reducer, water distributor, etc.
