1.Classification of FRP tanks

FRP tanks are divided into vertical round-bottom FRP storage tanks, vertical flat-bottom FRP tanks, horizontal FRP tanks, large on-site wound

FRP tanks, open-top FRP tanks, FRP transportation tanks, FRP reaction tanks, and chemical equipment tanks. There are various models of

vertical FRP storage tanks, horizontally wound FRP storage tanks, composite FRP tanks, and large FRP containers. According to the (storage

or transportation) medium, epoxy furan resin, modified or polyester resin, and phenolic resin are selected as binders. It consists of a corrosion-resistant inner lining layer with a high resin content, an anti-seepage layer, a fiber-wound reinforcement layer, and an outer protective layer.

2.Vertical Advantages and features of FRP storage tanks

Mechanically wound FRP containers can adjust the physical and chemical properties of products by changing the resin system or using different reinforcing materials to meet the needs of different media and working conditions. Designing different thicknesses of the structural layer, winding angles, and wall thicknesses to achieve different pressures is a significant feature of fiber-wound composite materials.

*FRP containers and FRP storage tanks have excellent physical properties: The specific gravity of FRP is usually 1.8 - 2.1, which is 1/4 - 1/5 of that of steel.

The specific strength of FRP is higher than that of steel, cast iron, and plastic. The thermal expansion coefficient of FRP is roughly equivalent to that of steel, and its thermal conductivity is only 0.5% of that of steel..

*Fiberglass containers and fiberglass storage tanks are resistant to chemical corrosion and have a long service life: Fiberglass has special corrosion resistance. When

storing corrosive media, fiberglass shows unparalleled advantages over other materials and can resist a variety of acids, alkalis,

salts, and organic solvents.

*Fiberglass containers and fiberglass storage tanks have great design flexibility and excellent tank wall structural performance: Filament-wound fiberglass can change the resin system or reinforcing materials to adjust the physical and chemical properties of fiberglass storage tanks and non-standard devices to meet the needs of different media

and working conditions. By designing the thickness of the structural layer, the winding angle, and the wall thickness structure, the load-bearing capacity of the tank can be adjusted

to produce fiberglass storage tanks and non-standard devices with different pressure levels or certain special properties, which is incomparable to isotropic metal materials

.

*Acid-resistant storage tanks (hydrochloric acid tanks, sulfuric acid tanks, phosphoric acid tanks, nitric acid tanks, organic acid tanks, fluosilicic acid tanks, hydrofluoric acid tanks, etc.)

*Alkali-resistant storage tanks

*Brine storage tanks, sewage storage tanks

*Food-grade fiberglass storage tanks (fiberglass vinegar storage tanks, fiberglass vinegar containers, fiberglass soy sauce containers, fiberglass soy sauce storage tanks, fiberglass pure water storage tanks, fiberglass pure water containers, etc.)

*Fiberglass/Polyvinyl chloride (FRP/PVC), Fiberglass/Polypropylene (FRP/PP) Composite Tank

Mechanically wound fiberglass containers can adjust the physical and chemical properties of the products by changing the resin system or using different reinforcing materials to meet the needs of different media and working conditions. Designing the thickness of the structural layer, winding angle, and wall thickness to produce different pressures is a significant feature of fiber-wound composite materials.

3. Application scope of vertical fiberglass storage tanks and fiberglass containers:

They can be widely used in industries such as chemical, petroleum, food brewing, power, transportation, pharmaceuticals, textile printing and dyeing, and water treatment.

They can store various corrosive media and are resistant to the corrosion of various acids, alkalis, salts, and organic solvents. They are suitable for the storage and transportation of various products such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, formaldehyde, methanol, wine, hydrogen peroxide, sewage, and sodium hypochlorite. They can also be used as underground oil tanks, insulated storage tanks, and transport tankers.

According to customer requirements, components such as level gauges, thermometers, guardrails, ladders, and platforms can be equipped.
