Fiberglass buried double-wall tank, FF type double-layer oil tank, FF buried double-layer oil tank. Compared with single-layer oil tanks with anti-seepage tank pools, it has the characteristics of better environmental protection, lower construction difficulty, and higher reliability, and is more in line with the future construction trend of gas stations. The FF type double-layer oil tank, since both layers are non-metallic composite materials, is environmentally friendly and safe, completely avoiding problems such as corrosion, rust, and welds of traditional steel oil tanks that are difficult to handle, which can protect the safety of oil products and better protect the quality of oil products. What's more different is that there is no need to build a pressure-bearing tank pool when burying it under the driveway, and the construction period is short. It can be completed in 1 - 3 days from excavation to backfilling. This means a significant reduction in the shutdown time of the gas station and also means a reduction in the comprehensive cost. These are very important for oil companies with a large number of gas stations.

◇ Double-layer oil tanks are currently a commonly used measure in foreign gas stations to prevent leakage of underground oil tanks. Its transition process and trend are: single-layer tank - double-layer steel tank (also known as SS underground oil tank) - inner steel and outer glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) double-layer tank (also known as SF underground storage tank) - double-layer glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) oil tank (also known as FF underground storage tank). For the renovation of buried oil tanks in use at gas stations, during the transition period of using double-layer oil tanks in countries such as North America and the European Union, in order to reduce the losses of existing gas stations when replacing double-layer oil tanks, it is allowed to use lining technologies such as glass fiber reinforced plastic that meet the requirements of strength and anti-seepage to transform them into double-layer oil tanks. Hong Kong, China also uses this renovation technology.
◇ Since double-layer oil tanks have two layers of tank walls, they have a double insurance effect in preventing oil tank leakage. In addition, foreign standards require online monitoring and manual inspection of the gap between the two layers of tank walls during manufacturing. Whether the inner tank or the outer tank leaks, it can be detected in the through gap, thus effectively preventing the leaked oil from entering the environment and polluting the soil and groundwater.
◇ The inner steel and outer glass fiber reinforced plastic double-layer oil tank is formed by attaching a layer of glass fiber reinforced plastic (i.e., fiberglass) anti-seepage outer jacket on the basis of a single-layer steel oil tank to form a double-layer tank. In addition to the common characteristics of double-layer tanks, because the outer glass fiber reinforced plastic tank body is far superior to steel oil tanks in terms of resistance to soil and chemical corrosion, its service life is longer than that of steel tanks in direct contact with the soil.
◇ For double-layer glass fiber reinforced plastic oil tanks, both the inner and outer layers are glass fiber reinforced plastic tank bodies, which are superior to oil tanks with metal tank bodies in terms of resistance to internal and external corrosion. Therefore, this type of tank may become the main product for underground oil tanks at gas stations in various countries in the future.
● Construction process
● Tank pool excavation and geological exploration - According to the installation requirements, excavate a tank pool of appropriate size to ensure that the distance between the four sides of the tank pool and the tank body is not less than 600mm, and there is a 60-degree slope. According to the geological exploration, the bearing capacity of the foundation meets 167.6kPa, meeting the construction conditions.
● Place ground anchors and lay the foundation bed - Place the ground anchors attached to the tank in appropriate positions, and use backfill materials to lay a foundation bed with a thickness of 400mm.
● Place the oil tank and fill the bottom - Place the oil tank in the middle of the ground anchors, adjust its horizontal position to meet the requirements of the gas station construction, then use the straps attached to the tank to tie the oil tank to the ground anchors, and use wooden packing rods to tamp the backfill materials at the bottom of the oil tank.
● Continue backfilling - Use the required backfill materials to continue the backfilling.
● Pavement paving - After the backfilling is completed and the manhole wells, leakage detection wells, and pipelines are made, carry out the paving of the concrete pavement.
