1. Basic Definition

Rebar, officially named Hot Rolled Ribbed Steel Bar, is a hot-rolled steel bar with longitudinal and transverse ribs on the surface. It has a round cross-section, and the transverse ribs are mostly crescent-shaped without intersecting the longitudinal ribs. It effectively enhances the bonding force with concrete and prevents structural sliding, widely used as the key framework material for reinforced concrete projects.

3. Material & Chemical Composition

It adopts carbon structural steel and low-alloy structural steel, with 20MnSi as the mainstream material.Typical chemical composition:Carbon: 0.20%–0.25%Manganese: 1.20%–1.60%Silicon: 0.40%–0.80%Sulfur ≤ 0.045%, Phosphorus ≤ 0.045%

6. Production Process

Blast furnace ironmaking → Converter / Electric furnace steelmaking → Billet composition adjustment → High temperature heating and rolling → Water cooling → Fixed-length cutting → Quality inspection → Packing and warehousing.

7. Core Performance

It features high strength, strong concrete adhesion, good plasticity and bending performance, and excellent weldability. Seismic rebar meets strict seismic technical indicators with stable structural safety.

8. Application Scope

Widely used in residential buildings, office buildings, industrial workshops, bridges, tunnels, airports, ports, water conservancy dams, municipal infrastructure and other large construction projects.

9. Surface Marking & Packaging

Factory logo, steel grade and specification are clearly embossed on the surface. Straight rebar is packed in bundles, coil rebar in coils. Each bundle or coil is attached with qualified quality certificate, firmly bundled for easy loading and transportation.

10. Quality Acceptance

No cracks, scars or folds on the surface with clear and uniform ribs. Dimension, mechanical property, chemical composition and cold bending test all comply with GB 1499.2-2024 standard.

11. Storage, Transportation & Delivery Cycle

Store in dry and ventilated area, keep bottom elevated to prevent moisture and rust; stack different specifications separately. Keep rain and moisture proof during transportation to avoid deformation.Delivery cycle: 5-7 working days after payment confirmation.
