1. Basic Definition
Flat Steel is a long strip steel with rectangular cross-section, vertical both sides and clear slightly blunt edges.
Width: 12–300 mm
Thickness: 3–60 mm
Standard fixed length: 6m, 12m; customized fixed length and multiple length are available.

Hot Rolled Flat Steel (Most Popular)
Process: Formed by hot rolling after heating steel billet to 1100–1250℃.Features: Stable mechanical performance, high cost performance with normal oxide scale on surface and controllable dimensional tolerance.Application: Building frame, stair parts, bridge reinforcement, fence, pipe billet and structural support.
Cold Rolled / Cold Drawn Flat Steel
Process: Precision formed by cold rolling or cold drawing at normal temperature.Features: Smooth surface, high dimensional accuracy and good straightness, no need for secondary finishing.Application: Precision mechanical parts, hardware brackets, machine tool accessories and precision stamping parts.
Hot Dip Galvanized Flat Steel
Process: Made of hot rolled flat steel substrate with hot dip galvanized anti-corrosion treatment.Features: Rust and corrosion resistance, long service life and neat appearance with good outdoor weather resistance.Application: Engineering lightning protection grounding, outdoor railings, curtain wall embedded parts, cable trays and outdoor steel structures.
