PFCP206 Phenolic Paper Sheets (XXXP)
Product Spotlights
Description
PFCP206 sheets were originally developed to meet the requirements of the MOD (Navy DG Ships). This grade offers excellent electrical strength both in air and when immersed in oil, combined with good mechanical properties, low water absorption, and high insulation resistance.
PFCP206 maintains reliable electrical performance under humid conditions, including after water immersion, and is suitable for hot punching. It is widely used in high- and medium-voltage applications, such as switchgear, terminal panels, and busbar supports.
Features
PFCP201: Mechanical grade; better mechanical properties than other PFCP types; lower electrical performance under normal humidity; suitable for hot punching. NEMA: X, XP
PFCP202: Power-frequency voltage grade; high electrical strength in oil; good electrical strength in air under normal humidity. NEMA: XX; Industry standard: 3020
PFCP203: Mechanical and electrical grade; good electrical performance under normal humidity; suitable for hot punching. NEMA: XXP; Industry standard: 3021
PFCP204: Electrical and electronic grade; stable electrical performance under humidity; suitable for cold punching or hot punching. NEMA: XXX
PFCP205: Similar to PFCP204; low flammability. NEMA: FR-2
PFCP206: Mechanical and electrical grade; good electrical performance under humidity, including after water immersion (insulation resistance); suitable for hot punching. NEMA: XXXP
PFCP207: Similar to PFCP201; improved punching performance at low temperature; mechanical grade with low electrical properties; commonly known as cold-punching grade. NEMA: XPC
PFCP308: Similar to PFCP206; low flammability; flame resistance better than NEMA FR-1 but lower than FR-2.
Applications
PFCP201: Mechanical components and structural parts; hot-punched mechanical insulation parts.
PFCP202: Power-frequency electrical insulation parts; oil-immersed and air insulation components.
PFCP203: General-purpose mechanical and electrical insulation parts; hot-punched components.
PFCP204: Electrical and electronic insulation parts; precision punched components under humid conditions.
PFCP205: Flame-retardant electrical and electronic insulation components.
PFCP206: Mechanical and electrical insulation parts used in humid or water-exposed environments.
PFCP207: Cold-punched mechanical components; low-temperature punching applications.
PFCP308: Flame-retardant mechanical and electrical insulation parts with moderate fire resistance.
