Performance characteristics
Different pelletizing machines are manufactured to meet the specific characteristics of different foams (EPS, EPE, EPP,etc.).Processing various waste foams into recycled PS granules.
1. Foam Crushing: Waste foam is crushed by a foam crusher and blown through pipes by a blower to the hopper above the foam hot melt machine.
2. Foam Hot Melting: The crushed foam enters the hot melt machine and is melted into a viscous plastic molten material through heating and strong extrusion by the screw.
3.Foam hot melt auxiliary equipment: The hot melted foam is forced through a die head (a plate with many small holes) to form strips.
4. Foam Shaping: After the foam is made into plastic strips, the extremely high temperature allows for shaping through a cooling water tank.
5. Foam Pelletizing: The shaped plastic strips are fed into a pelletizer to be cut into granules. The foam pelletizing production line can be an integrated machine or different separate machines can be purchased according to requirements.
