Main Grades and Application Scenarios:
Q235B: The most commonly used carbon structural steel grade, with excellent comprehensive performance, moderate strength, good toughness, excellent welding performance and high cost performance. It is suitable for general load-bearing scenarios, such as ordinary industrial platforms, stair treads, light truck floors, scaffolding planks, etc.
Q355B: Low-alloy high-strength structural steel. Compared with Q235B, it has higher strength, stronger load-bearing capacity, and slightly better impact resistance and corrosion resistance. III. Pattern Types and Characteristics
The patterns of this product are all formed by hot-rolled integral forming process, with clear patterns, uniform protrusions and strong adhesion, which are not easy to fall off and wear. Different pattern types are suitable for different use scenarios, and customers can choose according to anti-slip needs, walking comfort and aesthetics.
Diamond Pattern (Most Commonly Used): The patterns are distributed in a diamond shape, with moderate protrusion height (0.5-2mm, not included in the base plate thickness). It has the best anti-slip performance, uniform force bearing, not easy to accumulate dirt and easy to clean. It is suitable for most scenarios, especially areas with frequent personnel movement, goods stacking or wet and slippery conditions, such as industrial platforms, workshop walkways, stair treads, truck floors, etc. It is the most widely used pattern type.
Lentil Pattern: The patterns are lentil-shaped, with rounded protrusions and smooth transitions, high walking comfort and balanced anti-slip performance. Compared with the diamond pattern, the surface is flatter, which is not easy to hook clothes or goods. It is suitable for scenarios where personnel walk for a long time and goods are handled frequently, such as shopping mall stairs, workshop passages, light equipment pedals, etc.
Round Bean Pattern: The patterns are round granular, with small and uniform protrusions, flat and smooth surface, easy to clean and not easy to accumulate dust. It has moderate anti-slip performance and strong decorativeness. It is suitable for scenarios with certain requirements for aesthetics and general anti-slip needs, such as indoor decoration, light walkways, equipment shell decoration, etc.
Willow Leaf Pattern (Optional): The patterns are willow leaf-shaped, with smooth lines, strong decorativeness and general anti-slip performance. It is mainly used for decorative scenarios, such as building exterior wall shapes, exhibition hall floors, indoor partitions, etc., taking into account both aesthetics and slight anti-slip needs.
IV. Specification, Size and Customization Instructions
The product has a complete range of specifications, covering conventional sizes, and also supports customized production according to needs to meet the installation and use needs of different scenarios. All sizes strictly comply with GB/T 3277-2015 standard, with high dimensional accuracy and deviation controlled within the allowable range to ensure installation adaptability.
Base Plate Thickness: Conventional thickness: 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm, 6.0mm, 8.0mm, 10.0mm, 12.0mm; Special thickness can be customized (1.5mm-15mm). The thickness selection should be combined with the load-bearing requirements. For light-load scenarios, 2.5-5.0mm can be selected; for heavy-load scenarios, 6.0-12.0mm can be selected; for ultra-heavy-load scenarios, plates thicker than 12mm can be customized.
Common Width: 1000mm, 1250mm, 1500mm. These three widths are conventional industry sizes, suitable for most cutting and installation scenarios, no additional cutting is needed, and construction efficiency is improved; special width can be customized (800mm-2000mm), and the production cycle needs to be confirmed in advance.
Common Length: 6000mm (conventional fixed length), and also supports customized length according to needs, with a length range of 1000mm-12000mm. It can be customized according to the size of the construction site to reduce cutting waste and construction cost; when the fixed length exceeds 6000mm, the transportation feasibility needs to be confirmed.
Pattern Height: The conventional pattern height is 0.5-2.0mm, not included in the base plate thickness. The pattern height can be adjusted according to anti-slip needs. The higher the anti-slip requirement, the appropriately higher the pattern height can be (maximum not more than 3.0mm).

Diamond Pattern: 3.0mm (base plate) ≈24.5kg/㎡; 5.0mm (base plate) ≈42.3kg/㎡; 6.0mm (base plate) ≈50.1kg/㎡; 8.0mm (base plate) ≈65.8kg/㎡.
Lentil Pattern: 3.0mm (base plate) ≈23.8kg/㎡; 5.0mm (base plate) ≈40.5kg/㎡; 6.0mm (base plate) ≈48.4kg/㎡; 8.0mm (base plate) ≈63.6kg/㎡.
V. Core Product Performance
Relying on high-quality carbon steel material and advanced hot rolling process, this product has excellent comprehensive performance, adapts to various complex scenarios, and is stable and reliable for long-term use. The specific performance is as follows:
Anti-slip Performance: The surface patterns effectively increase the contact surface friction. The wet friction coefficient can reach 0.3-0.9, and the dry friction coefficient is higher, which can effectively prevent people from slipping and goods from sliding, especially suitable for wet, oily, water-accumulated scenarios, such as workshops, ship decks, truck floors, etc.
Mechanical Performance: High strength and good toughness. The tensile strength of Q235B is ≥375MPa, and the yield strength is ≥235MPa; the tensile strength of Q355B is ≥470MPa, and the yield strength is ≥355MPa. It has strong load-bearing capacity. The 6mm thick carbon steel checkered plate can bear more than 800kg per square meter, which can meet the use needs of conventional and heavy-load scenarios, and is not easy to deform or break.
Processing Performance: Excellent welding performance, can adopt various welding methods such as arc welding and gas shielded welding. The weld seam is firm after welding, without cracks, pores and other defects; easy to cut, bend and punch, can be processed into various shapes according to actual needs, adapt to different installation scenarios, and high processing efficiency.
Wear and Impact Resistance: The surface patterns are strengthened by hot rolling, with higher hardness than the base plate, excellent wear resistance and not easy to wear; the material has good toughness and strong impact resistance, can bear a certain impact and vibration, and is suitable for scenarios prone to wear and impact such as industrial workshops and truck transportation.
Anti-corrosion Treatability: Carbon steel itself is prone to rust, and can be anti-corrosion treated by galvanizing (hot-dip galvanizing, cold galvanizing), painting, plastic spraying, etc., to improve corrosion resistance and extend service life. After treatment, it can be adapted to outdoor, humid, weak corrosive scenarios, such as outdoor platforms, ship decks, etc.; untreated products are recommended for dry, indoor scenarios.
VI. Production Process
This product adopts advanced hot rolling production process, with full automatic control, ensuring stable product quality, uniform patterns and accurate dimensions. The production process strictly follows industry standards, and the specific process is as follows:
Raw Material Selection: High-quality Q235B and Q355B steel billets are selected, and the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the steel billets are strictly inspected to eliminate steel billets with excessive impurities and unqualified performance, ensuring product quality from the source.
Heating and Rolling: The steel billet is sent to the heating furnace and heated to 1000-1200℃ to make it reach a plastic state, then rolled by the hot rolling mill, and the pattern is integrally embossed on the steel plate surface through the roller with patterns, ensuring clear patterns, uniform protrusions and close combination with the base plate.
Cooling and Forming: After rolling, natural cooling or forced cooling is adopted to cool the steel plate to room temperature, avoiding cracks, deformation and other defects caused by too fast cooling, and ensuring stable plate dimensions and qualified performance.
Finishing Treatment: The cooled checkered plate is straightened, trimmed and cut to adjust the flatness and dimensional accuracy of the plate, remove edge burrs and defects, and ensure the product has a clean appearance and qualified dimensions.
Quality Inspection: The finished products are strictly inspected, including dimensional accuracy, pattern integrity, chemical composition, mechanical properties, surface quality, etc. Unqualified products are all eliminated to ensure that the delivered products meet national standards and customer requirements.
Anti-corrosion Treatment (Optional): According to customer needs, the finished products are galvanized, painted and other anti-corrosion treatments to improve product corrosion resistance and extend service life. After treatment, secondary inspection is carried out to ensure that the anti-corrosion layer is uniform and firm, without falling off, bubbles and other defects.
