Pressure Vessel Steel Plate Product Description
1. Product Overview
Pressure vessel steel plate is a special hot-rolled steel plate specially used for manufacturing pressure vessels, boilers, storage tanks, heat exchangers and other pressure equipment. It has excellent mechanical properties, stable chemical composition, good welding performance and pressure resistance, and can safely operate under high temperature, high pressure, low temperature and corrosive working conditions. This series of steel plates are produced in strict accordance with international and national standards, with uniform internal structure, no internal defects, and meet the design and use requirements of pressure equipment.

5. Chemical & Mechanical Properties
Chemical Properties
The chemical composition is strictly controlled, with low carbon, low sulfur and low phosphorus content, ensuring good toughness, welding performance and corrosion resistance, and adapting to various processing and harsh working environments.
Mechanical Properties
It has moderate yield strength and tensile strength, excellent low-temperature impact toughness, high creep resistance and oxidation resistance, and can withstand long-term pressure load without deformation and cracking.
6. Production Technology
Adopt advanced converter smelting, external refining, continuous casting, controlled rolling and controlled cooling (TMCP) technology, combined with normalizing, tempering, quenching and tempering heat treatment processes, to ensure the internal density and performance stability of the steel plate.
7. Surface & Quality Requirements
The steel plate surface is smooth and clean, free of cracks, bubbles, scars, inclusions, delamination and other defects harmful to use; Non-destructive testing (UT, MT) can be carried out according to customer requirements to ensure zero internal defects.
8. Special Performance
• Low temperature resistance: Suitable for low-temperature pressure vessels and LNG storage tanks, maintaining good toughness in low-temperature environment;
• High temperature resistance: Suitable for high-temperature boilers and pressure equipment, with stable performance under high temperature and high pressure;
• Corrosion resistance: HIC/SSC resistant steel plates are available, suitable for oil, chemical and other corrosive media environments;
• Good weldability: Easy for on-site processing and welding, no preheating or low-temperature preheating required, improving processing efficiency.
9. Application Fields
Widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, pharmaceutical, shipbuilding, nuclear energy and other industries, for manufacturing pressure vessels, industrial boilers, storage tanks, heat exchangers, reaction kettles, liquefied gas tanks and other key pressure equipment.
10. Packaging & Delivery
Standard export packaging: Waterproof paper, steel strip strapping, wooden pallet packaging, to avoid damage and rust during transportation; Support sea, land and air transportation, and deliver goods quickly according to customer delivery cycle requirements.
