I. Product Overview
Steel sheet piles are high-strength, tough, corrosion-resistant and reusable section steel. II. Product Classification
1. Classified by Cross-Sectional Shape
U-Type Steel Sheet Pile: The most widely used type with a U-shaped cross-section. It has a reasonable lock joint design, excellent bending resistance and convenient construction. Suitable for most scenarios such as foundation pit support, cofferdams and river regulation, it has high cost performance and can be reused many times.
Z-Type Steel Sheet Pile: With a Z-shaped cross-section, it has a wide flange, large moment of inertia, strong bearing capacity and outstanding lateral pressure resistance. It is suitable for deep foundation pit support, high slope protection and large-scale water conservancy projects, and its overall stability is better than that of U-type steel sheet piles.
Larsen Steel Sheet Pile: An upgraded version of U-type steel sheet piles, with tight lock joint engagement, good seepage prevention effect and higher strength. It is often used in projects with high requirements for seepage prevention and load-bearing, such as ports and terminals, sewage treatment plants and deep foundation pit projects.
Other Types: Including straight web steel sheet piles and combined steel sheet piles, which are customized according to special engineering needs and suitable for special-shaped foundation pits and support projects under special geological conditions.
2. Classified by Production Process
Hot-Rolled Steel Sheet Pile: Produced by high-temperature hot rolling process, it has uniform material, high strength, good toughness, high lock joint precision, tight engagement and long service life. It is the mainstream type currently used in engineering and can meet the needs of various complex projects.
Cold-Formed Steel Sheet Pile: Produced by cold rolling process, it has fast forming speed, low cost and flexible cross-sectional size. It is suitable for small and medium-sized projects with moderate strength requirements, short construction period and limited budget, such as temporary support and small cofferdams.
3. Classified by Material and Specification
Main materials: Q345B, SY295, SY390 (all Chinese standards, which can be matched with international standards as needed). The materials meet national steel standards, with qualified tensile strength and yield strength, and the appropriate material can be selected according to engineering load requirements.
Common lengths: 6m, 9m, 12m. Different lengths from 3m to 24m can be customized according to the engineering depth to meet the depth requirements of different foundation pits and cofferdams; the cross-sectional width and thickness can be adjusted as needed to adapt to various engineering scenarios.

VI. Construction Notes
Before construction, the on-site geological conditions shall be surveyed, and the appropriate type, specification and construction equipment of steel sheet piles shall be selected according to the soil type, groundwater level and foundation pit depth.
Before inserting the steel sheet piles, check whether the lock joints are intact, clean up the sundries in the lock joints to ensure tight splicing, and prevent water and soil leakage during construction.
During insertion, the verticality shall be controlled to avoid inclination. If inclination occurs, it shall be adjusted in time to prevent affecting the overall structural stability.
During construction, the displacement and settlement of steel sheet piles shall be monitored. If any abnormality is found, reinforcement measures shall be taken in time to ensure construction safety.
After the project is completed, professional equipment shall be used to pull out the steel sheet piles. Forcible pulling out shall be avoided to damage the steel sheet piles and surrounding facilities. After pulling out, they shall be cleaned and repaired in time for reuse.
