Angle Steel Product Detailed Description
1. Product Overview
Angle steel, also known as angle iron, is a long-strip section steel with an L-shaped cross-section, formed by hot rolling process. It is divided into equal angle steel and unequal angle steel according to the width of two sides, featuring high structural strength, good weldability, and convenient processing and installation. It is one of the most widely used section steels in construction, machinery, and structural engineering, with stable mechanical properties and strong versatility.
2. Product Classification
2.1 Equal Angle Steel
Two side widths are completely equal, the most commonly used conventional type.
Specification expression: Side width × Side width × Side thickness
Example: 50×50×5mm, 100×100×8mm
2.2 Unequal Angle Steel
Two side widths are different, suitable for special structural stress scenarios.
Specification expression: Long side width × Short side width × Side thickness
Example: 100×80×6mm, 125×80×7mm
3. Size & Specification Range
• Hot-rolled equal angle steel: Side width 20mm - 200mm, side thickness 3mm - 24mm
• Hot-rolled unequal angle steel: Side width 25mm×16mm - 200mm×125mm, side thickness 3mm - 18mm
• Customized non-standard sizes can be processed according to customer drawings and requirements
