Enamel steel plate is a composite material, produced by coating a layer of enamel on the surface of a low-carbon steel substrate and firing it at high temperatures. It combines the structural strength of steel with the functional advantages of enamel, making it a common choice in the fields of public infrastructure and architectural decoration, especially in situations where strict requirements for fire resistance and high temperature resistance are imposed.
1. Product Features
The core characteristics of enamel-coated profiled steel sheet lie in its fire resistance and high temperature tolerance. It meets the A1-grade fire protection standard, indicating that it is resistant to burning or deformation under high temperature conditions.
Its surface is covered with a smooth enamel layer, which boasts excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The surface hardness can reach Mohs 6-7 grade, enabling it to resist scratches and impacts in daily use and remain undamaged. Additionally, the enamel layer is impermeable to water and resistant to erosion by acids, alkalis, and salts, maintaining stability even in humid environments such as tunnels and subway stations.
The surface of enameled steel plates is easy to clean. Stains do not easily adhere, and most common stains can be removed with simple wiping, thus reducing subsequent maintenance work and costs. In addition, the color of enameled steel plates is stable and does not fade easily under ultraviolet radiation, maintaining its original appearance for a long time even in outdoor or long-term use.
2.Application Scope
Enamel pressed steel plate is widely used in public infrastructure decoration, with obvious adaptability in tunnel and subway station fields, which are the main application scenarios of this product.
In tunnel wall decoration, it is gradually becoming a common choice. Tunnels are long-term service infrastructure with complex environments, often facing issues such as dampness, fog, and dust, which impose strict requirements on the durability and fire resistance of materials. Enamel-coated profiled steel sheets can fit both flat and curved tunnel walls, and can even be printed with cultural patterns to enrich the tunnel space and blend with the surrounding environment. It has been applied in many large tunnel projects both domestically and internationally, including underwater tunnels and urban landscape tunnels.
